boot camp

Boot Camp is an exciting full body conditioning fitness program designed to challenge, tone, and trim your body. This fitness program is based on philosophies from both personal training and group fitness by combining calisthenics, plyometrics, resistance training, and cardio challenges. IT is an action packed one hour work out. The format for this class is a warm up section followed by alternating sections of weight bearing exercises, calisthenics, and plyometrics, as well as an abdominal section with bouts of cardio challenges mixed in between each section. (60 minutes)

cardio kickboxing

The best cardio exercise ever! A full Body Workout! It’s a series of punches, kicks, floor exercises set to dance music. With precision & power, you’ll strengthen upper and lower body and see more muscle definition. All moves done correctly will turn your entire torso area into a solid core base! (60 minutes)

morning flow yoga

Morning Flow will energize the body and calm the mind. This flow allows you to wake-up and stretch each part of the body up in a safe and healthy way by building up heat and promoting circulation - allowing the space to explore breath. (60 minutes)

spinning

Spinning is a workout that uses a stationary bike with a weighted wheel that keeps spinning. You can adjust resistance levels, as the instructor & music keep you pedaling. Climbing, sprinting, leaning forward, standing & of course, cooling down are all part of the routine.

integrated movement

A scientific, clinically proven approach to fitness based on conditioning the client through six components including, flexibility, cardio respiratory, core, balance, power and resistance training. Incorporating these components together improves all biomotor abilities, builds high levels of functional strength, neuromuscular efficiency and dynamic flexibility. (45 to 60 minutes)

vinyasa flow yoga

Focusing on the mindful marriage of breath and movement, Vinyasa flow allows our minds to stay completely connected to our bodies through the breath. Vinyasa flow yoga will help lengthen and strengthen the body through a series of different poses while circulating the blood with fresh oxygen to each cell in our body & also promoting a healthy subtle spine. This level is for moderately active older adults who exercise in some way one or two days per week. The class is designed to increase the participant’s flexibility, joint stability, dynamic balance, coordination, agility, reaction time, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance. Medium Level (45 minutes)

This level is for very active older adults who regularly exercise three or more days per week. The class is designed to increase the participant’s flexibility, joint stability, dynamic balance, coordination, agility, reaction time, muscular strength, power and cardiovascular endurance. Highest level impact class (up to 60 minutes)

Combine fun & fitness to increase your cardiovascular & muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. A chair is offered for support. Head to toe stretching & complete relaxation in a comfortable position. Medium Ievel impact class (45 minutes)

classic

Have fun & move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength & range of movement. A chair is used for seated/standing support. Lowest level impact class (45 minutes)

strength and cardio

This class is a mix of both structured weightlifting exercises along with different cardio movements. The goal is to build muscle strength while improving your cardiovascular conditioning. Each class will focus on 2-3 muscle groups with anywhere between 20-24 sets of weightlifting and 15-20 minutes of cardio. Your heart rate is elevated the entire time, with peaks during the cardio sections. The rapid pace can be maintained given the opposing muscle parts being worked.

class format

Come to class on time so that you can set-up your “areas” with dumbbells, steps and mats. We will start each class with a dynamic warm up, then move to specific body group exercises. Between each sections of weight lifting, one minute intervals of fast paced cardio will be added. The routine will typically be repeated within the hour time slot. A static cool down will be at the end of each class. (60 minutes)

hiit it

Whether you are new to fitness or you are a seasoned gym rat HIIT (high intensity interval training) is for you! These fast paced workouts have been shown to torch tons of calories in a short amount of time. This type of exercise will have you alternating between periods of maximum effort and a short recovery using a variety of equipment including your own body weight. We will finish with an ab and stretching section. The best part of this workout is EPOC...the after burn effect meaning you will continue to burn more calories long after you have left the gym! (60 minutes)
